If you are feeling isolated, would like to meet new people in your community - or if you are struggling with food prices going up or worried about your bills then do come along to our Warm Welcome Cafe.
The Cafe can be found at GAMH Community Hub (23-25 Ashley St, G3 6DR) on a weekly basis on Sundays 12pm - 4pm. We provide a friendly welcome, a cuppa and a hot meal. Food is served from 1pm; and we provide a two-course meal run on a drop-in basis, with no need to book.
Our Warm Welcome Café is free and open to everyone. If you would like to support our work and can afford to donate, you can make a voluntary donation on a sliding scale.

A huge highlight of our year is our annual iftar community meal for Ramadan.
Alongside serving special community meals during regular cultural celebrations, for Lunar New Year, Refugee Festival Scotland, and
our Diwali celebrations.
Timeline of our Community Cafe
2014: Cafe first opens in Fred Paton Centre to only two attendees on first evening. The meal would go on to serve a three-course meal to 60-80 people with the help of around 20 volunteers every week. Promoting healthy eating, plant-based diets, and promoting food dignity and community.
March 2020: Cafe closes due to covid-19 pandemic.
April 2020: Woodlands, along with QCHA, Community Central Hall, Flourish House and Bike for Good, launched and delivered our Neighbourhood Food Service, cooking, freezing, and delivering 1000s of plant-based meals, as well as grocery bags to shielding members of the community.
July 2021: Cafe re-opens on our outdoor Events Terrace to limited numbers and with social distancing.
October 2021: Outdoor cafe pauses due to returning covid restrictions around social gatherings.
March 2022: Two research papers were produced focused on our community cafe.

April 2022: Cafe re-opens on Events Terrace
January 2023: Cafe re-opens indoors for the first time in nearly three years at GAMH Community Hub (formally named Flourish House ), where it has been ever since.
